About Eric Koston's éS Game of SKATE

Invented in the '70s by vertical skateboarding legends Lance Mountain, Neil Blender and John Lucero, and then adopted by street skaters in the 1980s, the Game of SKATE has been championed into the mainstream by today's leading street skater, Eric Koston, and top skateboarding brand éS Footwear. Today, Eric Koston's éS Game of SKATE is the ORIGINAL street skateboarding competition.

In its third year of tournament competition, the Game of SKATE's popularity among the skateboarding community has exploded. It is now the top contest format, being played by professional skaters such as Paul Rodriquez, Tom Penny, Mike Carroll, Bastien Salabanzi, Arto Saari, Geoff Rowley, Mark Appleyard, Jamie Thomas, Andrew Reynolds, Javier Sarmiento and many more.
